A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 5/10/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 4:14pm. There were 16 staff with 102 children in 11 classrooms at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed receiving bottles, playing with toy cars, playing outside and eating lunch. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. Medications and authorizations were inspected. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-540-A Description: Based on record review, tuberculosis (TB) screening documentation was not completed within 30 calendar days prior to the first date of employment. Evidence: Staff #4 (date of hire: 4/1/2019) TB screening is dated 9/17/2018. Plan of Correction: A negative TB test has been obtained and is on file.
