A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 05/13/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:50am-2:10pm. There were 66 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 10 staff. The physical plant, 6 staff records, 6 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, listening to stories,napping, and eating lunch. Today's lunch consisted of chicken crumble, whole grain macaroni and cheese, broccoli, mixed vegetables, and milk. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
