Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated today. The physical plant, 5 children's files, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 3:30-4:30pm. Today, there were 18 children under the supervision of 2 staff. Today, the children worked on completing their "Summer Bucket List", enjoyed free play and playing outside on the playground. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. The children were served cinnamon Scooby snacks and milk for snack. Staff files are not reviewed on site, but during an annual administrative file review. Should you have any questions, please contact me at mary.wizbicki@dss.virginia.gov.
