Technical Assistance:
**Two medication are currently expired. This does not meet the criteria for citation as long as the medication is not administered to children. Please contact the parents of the children with expired medication to let them know the statues of the medication held by the center.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 7:20am-8:20am. At the beginning of the inspection there were 14 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, 5 medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Background checks for staff are reviewed biannually during a separate inspection. Children were observed being dropped off for the morning session, creating paper crafts under the direction of a staff member, and playing with building materials. Ongoing activities in the program include the hatching and raising of baby chickens and a newly planted greenhouse . The center was clean and organized.
