An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, May 20, 2019 from approximately 11:50 AM until 1:40 PM to monitor the provider's provisional license status. Some but not all standards were reviewed during today's inspection. Upon the inspector's arrival children were having lunch in their classrooms. Later children looked at books and prepared for nap. During the inspection, documentation pertaining to transportation was reviewed along with the inspection of four buses. A follow-up review of background checks for seven board officers and review of eight bus driver records was conducted. Today's census: Classroom A: 10 children with 1 staff. Classroom B: 10 children with 2 staff. Classroom C: 11 children with 1 staff. (napping) If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector at (804) 662-9758.

The first aid kit on bus #1did not contain a thermometer and cooling pack. 2. The first aid kit on bus #2 did not contain a thermometer and cooling pack. 3. The first aid kit on bus #3 did not contain scissors, tweezers, tape, thermometer and ice pack. 4. The first aid kit on bus #4 did not contain scissors, tweezers, tape, thermometer and ice pack) Plan of Correction: Per the director: I will order additional supplies for each bus today.
