Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on June 4, 2019 from 10:40 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. There were one-hundred one students in the care of fourteen staff in six classrooms. Six children's and six staff records were reviewed and updated. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for three children. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Areas observed were: free choice, outside play, hand washing/bathroom procedures, small group activity, and lunch. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seem comfortable with their daily routine and schedule. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-E
Description: Based on medication review, the center failed to have one emergency medication with the pharmacy label attached. Evidence: 1. Three emergency medications were reviewed. 2. Child #B had one emergency medication that did not have the pharmacy label attached. 3. The director confirmed the parent did not furnish the emergency medication that included the pharmacy label.

Plan of Correction: The parent will be contacted to obtain medication that contains the pharmacy label.
