Technical Assistance:
Discussed the need for keeping proof of ID confidential and other paperwork.

Comments:
63 children present with 13 classroom staff in 6 groupings. The children are busy playing on the playground and in all the rooms. The younger children are napping and the all staff are interacting with the children in all the groupings. Lots of supplies and different interest areas set up in all the rooms. Today the children are having shepherds pie and fruit for lunch. This inspection was started at 10:15 and ended at 12:05. Please call me at 703-203-8659

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-750-A-2
Description: Based on the review of the centers medication , it was determined that the center failed to get the boxes with the label from the pharmacy. Evidence: 2 medications were found with out the original box in the older preschool room, the medication is labeled with the name of the child to which it belongs.

Plan of Correction: I will ask for the boxes for the medication.
