The licensing inspector completed a scheduled modification study on June 24, 2019 from approximately 2:00 PM until 2:50 PM. The Department received a request to modify the facility?s license on April 24, 2019. The licensee has requested to relocate to a building located at 7800 Woodman Rd., Henrico for the summer program due to renovations at their current location. The licensing inspector completed an inspection of the building located at this address and was assisted by a member of management. The cafeteria, gym, bathrooms and outdoor are the areas the children will be using during the summer hours. All areas of the facility were inspected. The areas have the required furniture and age appropriate materials for the anticipated number of children in care. During the inspection, the licensing inspector and director discussed policies and procedures. No hazards were identified, and no violations were cited during the inspection. At this time, the facility?s license will be modified to allow 140 children to be cared for at this facility. The children will be four years and 11 months to 12 years of age.
