Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 7/3/2019 from 10:16am to 1:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 95 children (5-12yrs.) supervised by 19 direct care staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 10 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing games in the gym, eating lunch, and preparing to go on a bowling fieldtrip. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
