Renewal application cannot be approved until background check results for new board officer have been reviewed. Please scan and email results as soon as they are received. Inspector also needs to review the facilities most recent health and fire inspection as well as liability insurance before license can be approved.

Today an unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted between the hours of 12:45pm and 3:45pm. There were 3 classrooms observed with a total of 15 children with 5 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed napping during today's inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on observation, areas and equipment outside of the center were not maintained in a safe and operable condition. Evidence: The face of the caterpillar crawling equipment on the playground is currently bent and cracked creating a pinching hazard. Plan of Correction: I'm going to pull it out and throw it in the trash.
Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2 Description: Based on observation, the findings of the most recent inspection of the facility are not posted. Evidence: The most recent inspection findings posted are dated 12/28/17. The facilities most recent inspection was on 3/1/2019. Plan of Correction: Today's will get posted.
