Discussed positive changes within the school, classroom management strategies, plans to eliminate the blind spot on the playground and plans for future painting of the classrooms.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 9:55am to 12:20pm. 51 children were directly supervised by 9 staff members. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 4 children's records, 3 staff records, policies, evacuation drills, the playground safety plan, the playground and required posted documents were reviewed. Children were observed playing games, working on crafts, exploring manipulative tables and engaging with one another and staff. Staff were welcoming and positive. Interactions between the children and staff were positive. The program continues to offer age appropriate activities and materials. No violations were cited today.
