Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, July 24, 2019. The on-site inspection was conducted from 8:40 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. At the time of arrival there were 83 children in eight classrooms and in the care of 15 staff members with three staff members available to assist if needed. The total enrollment for the program was 124 children. The records for nine staff members were reviewed, and nine children's records were reviewed. There were eleven staff members and six children interviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for four children. There were no violations of the licensing standards found. Lunch was observed to meet the USDA guidelines. The themes of the week were Oceans and Camping/Outdoor Fun. Some items observed and reviewed were: required posted information, documentation of emergency, shelter-in-place, and lockdown drills, changes to the posted menu, updated annual health inspection, warm water temperature, circle time, large group counting and alphabet activities, infant care, art activities, diapering procedures, transitions, hand washing and bathroom procedures, outdoor play in a bouncy house, lunch, and nap time.
