A complaint was received in the licensing office regarding supervision and communication. On Friday, August 2, 2019, an on-site investigation was conducted. Classrooms and children were observed, incident/accident reports were review and discussed with teachers. Based upon multiple interviews the preponderance of evidence dose not support the allegation. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-350-E-5 Complaint related: No Description: Based on observation, 1 classroom was out of ratio of 1 staff member for every 18 children. Evidence: The school age classroom had 1 staff member with 20 children. Plan of Correction: The children just got up from nap and 2 are going to another classroom.
