A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted between 8:00am & 11:30am; there were 62 children with 9 staff members. Physical plant, programming, staff and children records, medications and emergency procedures were reviewed along with the supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted on the date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-520-B-11 Description: Based on review of 9 medications, 5 do not have an allergy action plan. Evidence: Children #1,2,3,4 & 5 have medications on site emergency allergic medication with no allergy action plan. Plan of Correction: We will have the parents complete an allergy action plan. We will not take any allergy medication without a completed allergy action plan.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-530-5 Description: Based on review of 10 staff records, 3 records do not have documentation of completing the required preservice training. Evidence: Staff #1,2 &3 do not have documentation of completing the online preservice training. Plan of Correction: I will make sure the trainings are completed.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-3-f Description: Based on review of the emergency preparedness plan, the plan in incomplete. Evidence: There is not a plan on how the children and parents will reunite. Plan of Correction: We will review our plan and add a reunification plan.

Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan does not include how the continuity of operations will continue during an emergency.
