A subsidy health and safety inspection was completed on July 31, 2019 from approximately 10:00a.m. to 12:30p.m. to review additional health and safety requirements. Forty-six children were in care and eight staff were on premises during the inspection. Staff and children were observed in classrooms and on the playground engaged in activities to include activities for infants, outside play, snack time, and lunch time. Interviews and interactions were conducted and no children are currently taking medications. Five children?s records, six staff records and one corporate member record was reviewed. The Director/Owner was available for the inspection and was present at the exit interview at which time inspection findings were reviewed and an Acknowledgement of Inspection form was signed and left with the licensee. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
