Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 08/19/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Licensing Inspector between 10:00am and 1:00pm to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 111 children in care with 18 staff present. Fourteen children were on a field trip with 3 staff. A sample of 9 children and 2 staff recrods were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Description: Based on a record review the vendor did not ensure all required procedures and policies were included in the emergency plan. Evidence The vendor did not have a policy that included continuity of operations procedures to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency. The Assistant Director /Designatted Person-In-Charge was not aware of this policy and called the District Manager to see if the policy was kept at the center. The District Manager confirmed via the telephone that the procedures are not complete.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the designated person in-charge during the exit interview: The Assistant Director has contacted the District Manager that the vendor does not have this procedure and that its a requirement for subsidy,
