Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced renewal inspection conducted today, August 27, 2019. The on-site inspection was conducted from 10:40 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. At the time of arrival there were 66 children in eight classrooms and in the care of 14 staff members with three staff members available to assist if needed. Total enrollment for the program was 126 children. The records for nine staff members were reviewed, and seven children's records were reviewed. There were nine staff members and four children interviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for three children. All eight rooms were toured and observations were made in three of those classrooms. There were no violations of the licensing standards observed. Lunch was observed to meet the USDA guidelines. Some items observed and reviewed were: required posted information, injury reports, diaper ointments along with parent authorizations, emergency, lockdown, and shelter-in-place drills, warm water temperature, updated injury prevention plan and emergency preparedness plan, story time, circle time, fun with art, outdoor play, infant care, infant feeding, diapering procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, lunch, nap time, and dismissal procedures.
