A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/05/2019 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 22 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in centers, puzzles, playing with small manipulative toys, dramatic play, dancing to music, playing musical instruments, and napping. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There were no medications on site during this inspection. There was a supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Maria Robles at firstname.lastname@example.org.
