Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted between 7:00am & 8:30am; there were 24 children with 4 staff members. Physical plant, staff and children records, medications and emergency procedures were reviewed along with the supplemental health and safety requirements.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on the date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-520-B-11
Description: Based on review of 4 medications, 1 does not have a written allergy care plan, to include instruction from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.
Child #1 has a medication on site for an allergic reaction with no allergy care plan.

Plan of Correction: We will contact the parent and get a written allergy care plan.
