An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. There were 38 children in care being supervised by 8 staff members. The children were observed participating in structured center play and outdoor play. Lunch served today is bologna and cheese sandwich, carrots, celery, sliced apples, potato chips, and milk. Six children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 08/09/2019. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-B Description: Based on observation of the infant room it was determined that not all procedures for diapering were followed. Evidence: Two changing tables in the infant room had rips on the top of the changing surface with particle board exposed making the changing surface absorbent. Plan of Correction: Administration will replace the changing surface of both changing tables.
