The children raised a garden this summer. Use of garden soil/fertilizer with children was discussed with the program director.

An unannounced, mandated monitoring inspection was conducted today. The inspector arrived at 11:20 AM and departed at 1:30 PM. Thirteen children were in care. Morning activities and lunch service were observed. The outdoor playground was inspected.Three staff records and a sample size of five children's records were reviewed. It was reported that no medication is administered to children in care. Injury records were reviewed.
An exit meeting was conducted with the program director prior to closure of the inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C Description: Based upon review of three staff records and staff interview, the facility has not ensured that tuberculosis screenings are submitted at least every two years from the initial screening.
Evidence:
1. The most recent tuberculosis screening in the record provided for staff 2 is dated 1/4/2017.
2. Staff 1 verified that a repeat tuberculosis screening is past due for staff 2.Plan of Correction: The facility responded with the following:
