An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:30am-1:30pm. There were 39 children (infants-4yrs.) directly supervised by 7 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing outdoors, being bottle fed, napping and eating lunch. Today's lunch consisted of meatballs with marinara sauce, whole grain Penne pasta, Parmesan cheese, broccoli, apple and milk. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an adequate supply of materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice.

Evidence:
Child#1's record was missing the street number, the city and state for one emergency contact. Child#4's record was missing work telephone numbers for both parents.Plan of Correction: We will request the information today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-D Description: Based on review of emergency drills, documentation of evacuation drills was found to be incomplete.
Evidence:
There was no documentation to verify that a monthly evacuation drill was practiced for the month of September 2019.Plan of Correction: We conducted the drill on 9/25/2019, we will ensure we document it every month.
