Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 8 am through 11:30 am. Today, I met with the Staff of the Lake Anne Nursery Kindergarten located in Reston, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 68 children observed with 12 classroom staff; good ratios in all 5 groups. A total of 10 children?s files and 10 staff files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: center activities within the classroom, learning, art, games, bathroom breaks, hand washing, fire safety, large motor skilled activities out on the playground, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail to charles.perkins@dss.virginia.gov. Thank you.
