Technical Assistance:
Licensing inspector discussed medication authorization with the staff.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 11:10am-1pm There were 38 children in the direct care and supervision of 16 staff. A sample of 5 children?s records, 5 staff records, 5 minor injury logs, and 1 medication were reviewed. The children were observed washing hands, eating lunch, and napping. The center will be closed from 12/23/2019-01/02/2019 for winter break. Zero new staff have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Description: Based on observation, hazardous substances were not kept in a locked place.

Evidence:
Solutions labeled "soap water" and "sanitizer; 1/2 bleach and 1/2 water" were found in a unlocked cabinet above the sink in Room 2.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.
