Comments:
Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, December 6, 2019. The on-site visit was from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. On this date, there were 12 children present in the four-year-old morning class. A total of two staff members were present. The total enrollment for all three classes was 41 children. There were five staff members' records reviewed and five children's records reviewed. Two staff members and five children were interviewed. One classroom was observed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for two children. All snacks were provided by the parents. The theme for the week was Christmas and the letter L. Some of the items reviewed and observed included: annual fire and health inspections, injury prevention plan, first aid kit, emergency supplies, warm water temperature, choice time, circle time, story time, music and rhythm activities, show and tell, and nativity play practice, arrival and dismissal procedures, art activities, table top activities, small motor activities, indoor large motor play, snack, hand washing, and bathroom procedures.
