Comments:
A Subsidy Health and safety inspection was conducted to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspection began at 2:00 p.m. and ended at 4:00 p.m. There were 34 children in care with staff supervising at all times. The director was also present. The children were observed playing at centers, playing in the gym, getting up from rest time, during snack, and washing hands. Five staff records and five children?s records were reviewed. No medications were reported to be on site. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions, please call your inspector at (276) 698-9981. Thank you.
