Technical Assistance:
We discussed the requirements for staff records. The risk assessment for a violation was provided.

Also, we talked about bleach spray storage options.

Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during the renewal inspection conducted from 12:05 PM to 5:15 PM. Today, there were one-hundred and three children in care, ages infancy through five years, with thirty-seven staff. Twelve children, I viewed program activities, daily routines, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, equipment, agency inspections, insurance, ten records for children, infant care and records, diapering procedures, posted information, emergency planning, injury records, emergency supplies and drill records, nutrition, menu, snacks, medication, twelve staff records, staff qualifications, staff training, indoor and outdoor areas. There was a variety age appropriate toys, equipment and materials in interest areas of each room. The teachers provided experiences with music and stories during group time. Regular outside activities have been offered and the playground equipment was in good condition. The teachers were observed attending to children's individual needs for care, comfort and guidance. Description: Based on a review of staff records, and an interview with administrative staff, the center failed to obtain an updated tuberculosis statement from the results of a screening by two years from the date of the last statement for one staff. Evidence: The tuberculosis statement dated August 13, 2017 for staff member 8 was not updated until August 27, 2019.

Plan of Correction: Administrative staff will continue to use a tracking system for staff member record due dates and arrange for staff to submit TB statements before two years from the date of the statements on file.
