Comments:
Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, July 29, 2019. The on-site inspection was from 9:45a.m. to 11:45a.m. On this date, there were 14 children present in one group and in the care of five staff members. There were two additional staff members available to assist if needed. There were 14 children enrolled in camp this week. Eight staff records were reviewed on June 13, 2019 in the HR office and there have been no changes in staffing since that time. Five children's records were reviewed. Four staff members and four children were interviewed. There were no medications on-site or being administered during camp this week. There were no violations of the licensing standards. The theme was Beach Week. Some items reviewed/observed: tennis lesson/activities, transitions, preparation for swimming, parental authorizations for sunscreen, required posted information, updated emergency preparedness and injury prevention plans, first-aid kit and emergency supplies, and documentation of evacuation drills and shelter-in-place drills.
