Comments:
The Licensing Inspector for Garnetta Deshazor-Bennett conducted an unannounced Voluntary Registration Renewal Inspection on 1/10/2018. There were four (4) children present ages 14 months to 3 years under the direct care and supervision of one (1) caregiver. The Licensing Inspector reviewed four (4) children records along with three (3) staff/household records. LI Anderson conducted an exit interview with the Provider on 1/10/2018. Violations:
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-006-B
Description: Based on record review & discussion with the Provider, the Vendor failed to have a written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food which the child is allergic to and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. EVIDENCE: Record for Child #4 did not include documentation of an allergy care action plan. Information in the child's record indicates that the child has been diagnosed with a food allergy.

Plan of Correction: Will tell parent at pick-up to provide allergy care action plan. Upon receipt of documentation, information will be kept in the child's record.

Standard #: VENDHOM-000-015-A-3
Description: Based on inspection, the Vendor failed to ensure sinks located near the toilets and that are supplied with running warm water that does not exceed 120?F. EVIDENCE: Hot water temperature in the bathroom sink used by the children in care registered 125 degrees F. Hot water temperature exceeds 120 degrees F requirement.

Plan of Correction: Will reduce water temperature

Standard #: VENDHOM-000-026-F
Description: Based on inspection, the Vendor failed to ensure soiled disposable diapers and wipes are disposed in a leak-proof or plastic-lined storage system that is foot operated. EVIDENCE: A foot operated trash-can was unavailable. Licensing Inspector observed soiled diapers and wipes discarded in an open top trash-can.

Plan of Correction: Will purchase trash-can
