Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 8 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, children' records, evacuation drills and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed resting and waking up. Babies that woke up earlier than the older children were greeted and provided toys to play with until nap came to an end. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Surfacing was being laid in the backyard at the time of inspection. All violations had been corrected from last inspection. LI and provider also discussed emergency procedures in relation to events during inspection. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector. kelly.savittiere@dss.virginia.gov703 479 4746
