54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted today. There were 5 children(10 points) directly supervised by 1 staff. The home, 1staff records, 3 children?s records, 1 household member?s record, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and preparing for lunch. Hand washing was also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review, the Provider has not maintained complete information for emergency contacts. 1. Child #2 had two emergency contacts listed but 1 contact did not contain the address for that contact. 2. Child #3 had two emergency contacts but one was only one name and Inspector could not identify it was a first name or a last name. Plan of Correction: I will talk with the parents to obtain complete information.
