Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted. Six children were in care with three adult caregivers for twenty points which is within ratios for supervision. The provider has a majority of infants and toddlers and has rearranged her space to accommodate cribs and floor space to allow movement for infants and younger children. Food is bought from home and labeled and stored properly. Training for first aid and CPR certification is current. Observed bottle feeding, diapering space, infant interactions and transition to outside play time in the backyard. Space is very organized and well maintained with age appropriate materials and supplies. The provider received her Special Use Permit (SUP) by Fairfax County Zoning to have a capacity for 12 children in Janyuary 2015. The provider's responses for the "Description Of Action To Be Taken" were not received as of 5/26/2015 and will not appear on the Violation Notice. Please call if you need any assistance.
