Discussed use of blankets with infants, and made recommendation that the blanket only reach as far as the infant's chest.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. Observed 6 children (16 points) directly supervised by 3 caregivers. Ratio and supervision were in compliance. A sample of 2 children's records, and 3 caregiver records were reviewed. The physical plant, emergency supplies and procedures were also reviewed. No medications were reported to be on site. The children were engaged in various activities, to include: free play, snack time, infant care, nap/rest time and feeding. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Inspection conducted 10:45am-11:45am.
