Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection has been conducted during the morning. There were 7 children (12 points) with two caregivers. The children were getting ready to go outside and the staff applied sunscreen to the children. Paperwork, training hours, emergency drills, and attendance records were reviewed. The Provider and assistant have attended more than 17 hours in training are both First Aid and CPR. The home and program is set up for the children and all programs are child appropriate. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-730-D
Description: Based on observation, there was a household member's medication that was not locked up. The medication was on a high shelf.

Plan of Correction: Immediately placed in locked cabinet. Will remind household member to put away each day.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280
Description: Based on observation, there was gel out that needs to be stored out of reach.

Plan of Correction: It was moved during the inspection.
