An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the provider,who was present with 7 children for a total of 9 points. Six of the seven children were napping at the beginning of the inspection. For lunch, the provider reported that she fed the children eggs, sweet potatoes, carrots, wheat bread and milk. The provider does not administer medication. Six children's files as well as the provider's file was reviewed today. Arrival time: 1:50 am Departure time: 2:45pm
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-90-A Description: Based on a review of six children's files, it was determined that one child did not have documentation of immunizations before the child attended the family day home. Evidence: Child A's first day of attendance was on 8/10/15, and there was no immunization record on file. Plan of Correction: I will get the immunization record from the parents.
