54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on September 23, 2015. There were two children present during the inspection with the provider totaling four points. No medications are being administered in the family day home at this time. Two children's records and the provider's record were reviewed during the inspection. There is a total enrollment of six children at this time. The outdoor play area is not being used at this time.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-50-A Description: Based on review, the family day home did not keep a written record of children in attendance each day. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on September 23, 2015, the provider did not have a written record of children in attendance. Plan of Correction: I will start tomorrow.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record review, the provider did not ensure that in addition to satisfactory completion of first aid training and CPR training. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on September 23, 2015, the provider's first aid and CPR training had expired and was dated 5/4/13. Plan of Correction: A training has already been scheduled and will be completed on October 8th.
