Today an unannounced renewal study was conducted beginning at 10:30am. There were 11 children (30 points) present with the Provider and assistant caregiver. Children were observed building blocks, using flash cards, reading books, having circle time, and playing at various creative play stations such as a castle-like clock tower, a doll house and a kitchen. There are currently no medications on-site for any children. Two new children's records were reviewed today. Adult records are current, including background checks, TB tests, First Aid/CPR and annual training hours. This inspection, including the exit interview, ended at 11:30am. Should you have any questions, please call.

Description: Based on record review of emergency drills, there is no documentation that two shelter in place drills have been practiced and documented in the last year. Evidence: Emergency drills were reviewed from September, 2014 through September, 2015. Emergency evacuation drills are documented monthly as required, however, there is no documentation that two shelter-in-place drills were practiced in addition to the evacuation drills.

Plan of Correction: We will begin practicing and documenting shelter-in-place drills twice per year.
