Discussed the paperwork and what needs to be kept and what can be removed from the caregiver files. Discussed accessibility to the child care, please make sure you can respond when someone knocks on the door if you do not have a door bell. Discussed getting a remote control door bell.

7 children present with 2 caregivers during this renewal visit. There is a today of 23 points. The children were observed resting, playing with toys after rest time was over. Having snack. Crackers, bananas, apples and milk was served today. The children are busy playing with toys, babies are having lots of floor time. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-130
Description: The provider failed to get some of the required paperwork for some staff. Evidence: Based on the review of caregiver paperwork, the provider did not send in subsequent background checks for caregiver A and B. Last background checks expired in Oct of 2015.

Plan of Correction: We will send in the criminal records this week.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-160
Description: The provider failed to get a subsequent criminal records check done for one house hold member. Evidence: Based on the review of the provider records, the household members CRC expired in Oct of 2015.

Plan of Correction: We will send in the paperwork

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: One caregiver is missing a subsequent TB screening. Evidence: Based on the review of three household members/ caregivers one caregiver, caregiver A, is missing a subsequent TB screening.

Plan of Correction: I will make sure i get the TB screening done.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A
Description: One caregiver has documentation for 8 training hours available for review at the time of the visit. The caregiver is missing 8 hours of training. Evidence: Based on the review of records and interview with caregivers, two certificates were reviewed at the time of the visit the caregiver was interviewed and says she has taken lots of hours of training but is unable to locate the training certificate.

Plan of Correction: I will find the certificates and add them to my file.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280
Description: The provider failed to keep cleaners out of reach of children. Evidence: Two spray cleaners are located in the bathroom cabinet without locks on the drawer and cabinet.

Plan of Correction: We will buy a safety lock for the cabinet and install it.
