54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm. There were 7 children directly supervised by the provider and 1 assistant. The physical environment, caregiver records, children' records, posted documents, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The home was clean and organized. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based upon observation, required documentation was incomplete in a child's record. Evidence: Child A's record is missing a parent signature on enrollment paperwork. The form was completed by parent as required, however, the parent signature was omitted. Plan of Correction: Provider will have parent sign form at pick up today.
