An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this morning from 11 am - 12:30 pm. There were five children present with the provider and two assistants for 18 points. I observed children at play with toys; eating lunch and napping. Lots of positive verbal interaction was observed between the infant/toddlers and all caregivers. Records were well organized and complete. The children's play area has been redesigned to remove the television and provide more room for a larger variety of toys in labeled containers. If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-240-A Description: During today's inspection, some floor covereings were observed to not be maintained in a safe condition. Evidence: In the children's play and eating area, two rugs and towels covering the floor were observed to be bunched up today, posing a potential tripping hazard. Plan of Correction: We will find a way to make sure these lay flat.

In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information.
