An unannounced renewal visit was conducted on 12/30/2015 . There were children in care on the day of the inspection. The inspector arrived at 10:45 A.M. and departed at 1:00 P.M. The inspector reviewed three child's records, the licensee's record and a household member's record. Discussion with licensee about: night time care requires beds for children, the importance of children in care during an inspection to determine compliance. No medications are currently given.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-A Description: Based on review of two children's records, the licensee failed to ensure that they records were complete. Evidence: 1. The inspector found that child # 1 did not have the policy number for the health insurance. 2. Child # 3 did not have a chronic physical problems. . Plan of Correction: The licensee has contacted the parents for the missing information and will monitor all records.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on review of the licensee's record, the licensee failed to ensure that the TB screening was completed every two years. Evidence: 1. The most recent TB screening for the licensee was completed on 11/18/2013. The TB screening is required every two years. Plan of Correction: The licensee will obtain a TB screening in the new year. All dates will be monitored.
Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-5-a Description: Based on review of household member's records, the licensee failed to ensure that all person's living in the home over the age of 14 years had a CPS check completed. Evidence: 1. The inspector found that the house hold member turned 14 on 11/26/2015 and the licensee had not sent off for the CPS check as of the day of the inspection. Plan of Correction: The licensee had the CPS check completed and will mail it today or tomorrow. The licensee will monitor all dates.
