54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An initial inspection for licensing occurred today from 4:25pm-4:55pm this was a follow up inspection to the initial consultation visit on 1/7/2016. The home is a two story home located in Virginia Beach. The backyard is completely fenced in however; the provider intends to use the park located in the neighborhood with in walking distance from the home until the backyard can be prepared for use. The provider has an high school diploma and has been providing childcare sine she was 13 years old. Children were in care, thus those standards regarding the care and supervision of children were able to be reviewed. Written parent and staff policies were reviewed. The physical plant and outdoor play space was inspected. First aid supplies and forms to be utilized were reviewed during this inspection. A sample of 3 children's records and 3 household members were reviewed. Medications are not being administered at this time.
