Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced inspection conducted today, February 4, 2016. The on-site visit was from 10:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On this date, at the time of arrival, there were three (3) children in the care of the provider the provider for a total of six (6) points. There were a total of seven (7) children enrolled in the program. There were three (3) children's records reviewed and the records for the provider, and two household members were reviewed. There were no medications being administered at the time of the visit. Risk scores were discussed. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Some of the items observed and reviewed during the visit included: evacuation drills, emergency preparedness plan, first aid supply kit, transition, hand washing and bathroom procedures, lunch preparation and nap. Interactions between the provider and children were positive and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. This family day home is well equipped with a variety of age/stage materials for the children in care. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Household Member C did not have documentation of obtaining an updated tuberculosis screening. Evidence: Based on record review and conversation with the provider it was confirmed Household Member C had not obtained an updated tuberculosis screening. Last documented update was 7/29/2013. Plan of Correction: An updated tuberculosis screening will be obtained and documented from Household Member C.
