Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 2/24/16. There were four children present with the provider and assistant supervising. The point total was nine. Four newly enrolled children's records were reviewed and five children's records were reviewed for updates only. The provider, household, and assistant's records were all up-to-date and were not reviewed at this inspection. The inspector arrived at the provider's home at 10:30 am and departed at 12:30 pm. The children were observed during large group learning time, during free play time, during music and movement time, during lunch, and during nap. The provider showed the inspector a new area (room) that was set up and designated for the school-age children for homework and projects. There was discussion with the provider about the following: updates needed for one part of the background check for the provider and household member, annual updates of children's records (beginning in June 2016).
