Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11:45 a.m. with the provider. There were two children in care, age seven, for a total of two points. Children were observed watching an age appropriate television program and playing a video game on a cell phone. After television time children were observed coloring pictures and drawing. Snack today was graham crackers, cheese and milk. The childcare area, supplies and equipment were observed. Four children's records, two household member records and the provider record were reviewed. Emergency drills were posted and up to date. The weekly menu is complete. If you have questions regarding this inspection, contact Stephanie Reed at (540) 272-6558 or S.Reed@dss.virginia.gov.
