Discussion regarding cribs
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 1:40 p.m. and ending at 3:15 p.m. with the provider. There were three children in care ranging in age from five months to six years of age for a total of eight points. A six year old was observed having playtime. An infant was observed being held. Another child was observed napping. An infant was observed being fed. Three children's records were reviewed. The provider record and three household member records were reviewed. Emergency drills were posted and up to date. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medication to children in care. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on review of documentation, not all records were complete. Evidence: Child C, enrolled January 2016, did not have two emergency contacts in the record. Child B, enrolled 2/19/2016, did not have parent B's employer, employer address and employer phone number. Plan of Correction: Parents will be asked again for the information and the record will be updated at pick up today.
