54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with provider and three assistants. There were seven children present, ranging in age from 1 year to 5 years old, totalling 17 points. The children were waking from rest, playing with toys, and having afternoon snack. Children were getting picked up and other children were arriving from school. Snack served today: oranges, and Chees-Its. Seven children's files, three household files, and two assistant files were reviewed and are in compliance. Provider first aid and CPR are valid until September 2016. Provider does not administer medication - Medication Administration Training is required to administer medication.
