A focused inspection was conducted today from 1:35 - 2:15. There were 11 children = 20 points with two caregivers. The school age children were outside taking a walk while the younger children napped. The exit interview was conducted with the licensee. The violation notice will be mailed for completion.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-70-A Description: Based on a review of children's records, the licensee did not provide all of the required information to one parent. Evidence - The record for child #3 did not contain a "Provisions for Emergency Preparedness" plan. Plan of Correction: The forms has [sic] been given to the parent and signed.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-B Description: Based on observation, the licensee did not cover one electrical outlet. Evidence - There was one uncovered electrical outlet observed across from the computer. The wall plate is loose as well. Plan of Correction: The outlet has been covered and the loose wall plate has been replaced with a new one.
