22VAC40-111 Administration

An unannounced non-mandated monitoring (focused) inspection was made on 6/10/16 to follow up on the provider's Intensive plan of Correction (IPOC) that was presented to the provider with the Licensing Administrator on 4/12/16. The provider's responses to the IPOC were picked up by the inspector from the provider on 4/26/16. The IPOC was focused on the areas of administration (children's records/parent agreements) and care of children (confining spaces for infants and toddlers). There were no violations related to the IPOC. The inspector arrived at the provider's home at 1:30 pm and departed at 3:30 pm. The children's records were reviewed and the children in care were observed. The two children present were over two years of age (no infants or toddlers in care). There was discussion with the provider about how the intent of Standard 600-B is met when infants and toddlers are present. There was a reminder that one child who will be six years old in August will need documentation of a school entrance immunizations (between four and six years of age).

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
