54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between 9:30 am and 11:00 am. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 9 children (28 points) with 2 caregivers. A total of 7 children?s files and 4 staff and household member?s files were reviewed. The inspector observed children: playing outside with bubbles and a supervised water table and indoors in free choice activities. The family day home had an abundance of toys and materiels and positive interactions were observed during this inspection. If you should have any questions, please call Kara Wright at (703) 537-6241.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-690-D Description: Based on observation, the family day home did not have a diapering surface that was nonabsorbent and washable. Evidence: The pad used on the changing table had a large tear in the on the changing surface, exposing the absorbent cushioning underneath, preventing the pad from being cleaned and sanitized after use. Plan of Correction: Provider will purchase a new pad today.
